In Lithuania has started an interesting project that I think will go further with the recognition of non formal learning.
Is now clear to more and more people how important is the integration between formal and non formal education to improve the competences and skills of youth and to fight against unemployment. A partnership of youth NGOs from different countries (Lithuania, Spain, Germany and others) are working for an innovative concept: applying the open badge system to the youth work. Open digital badges is a standard to recognise and verify learning and achievements. They are digital micro-credentials that may represent identity, interests, competences and achievements across the web.
