The problem of young people from Kaunas is not appropriate education in the schools and lack of knowledge about EU opportunities for young people. Meanwhile, in the school and universities youngsters are stuffed with dry theory but not touched how to collaborate and work in the team, understand a meaning of sustainability and get skills for being able to stand on your two feet and put your knowledge in the practice.
In order to reduce youth unemployment level, young people from Kaunas think that is important to make youngsters aware about the benefits of voluntarism. In this way young people will get new skills and will have work practice what will make them more desirable in the market. Non-formal education can help solving the sensitive problem of youth unemployment across Europe, it helps to shape more competitive workers, promotes youth entrepreneurship and helps to decide on a profession.
We are always striving to find a way of collaboration together
