“RAS au bahut”
Description of practice :
“RAS au bahut” is a debate in the form of drama on the theme of violence in schools. The innovative aspect of the project is that “RAS au bahut” is a play interactive , or what is called interactive discussion played , in the sense that occur during the staging of continuous exchanges between audience , actors and a mediator.
What happens ? It starts by representing a supervisor or teacher who suffers an act of violence. As soon as the scene ended , the actors “freeze” or lock in their roles , while the mediator invites the public to find solutions. As ideas take shape , the mediator identifies two or three more guys involved and ask them to go on stage, to portray not only their roles as students, but also the teacher who was attacked . It will be good to young people themselves, on stage, resolve the conflict in the fairest way possible.
Thanks to these scenes, the students of secondary schools or university may have an open discussion on topics such as verbal abuse, crime, theft, and similar phenomena that can be found every day, trying to find all the solutions to these problems.
Need addressed :
The aim of this series of scenes is to fight against violence in elementary, middle and high schools.
